Custom big coffee mugs in a 16 oz speckled stoneware style, with a soft matte glaze, fine dark speckles and an exposed band of raw clay at the foot, in Black, Cream, Gray, Mint, Navy Blue and White. It’s the mug for roasters, cafes, studios and gifting programs that want an artisan piece with real weight in the hand and a large front print.

The glaze is a soft matte that reads as hand-thrown, scattered with fine dark speckles that vary a little from mug to mug, and it stops short of the foot to leave a band of unglazed clay around the base. The three textures together are what make it look like a piece from a pottery shelf rather than a promo catalog, and it’s the mug people keep.

At 5 inches tall and 3.5 inches across, it holds a full 16 oz, well above the standard 11 oz mug, in heavy stoneware that feels substantial from the first sip and keeps coffee warm longer. The comfort-grip C-handle takes a full hand. It’s built for the serious coffee crowd and for desks where it will sit for years.

The front carries a 2.5 by 2.25 inch print area, among the larger ones in drinkware, and the back matches it. A one color screen print is included and sits crisp on the matte glaze, and full color is there when the artwork has more than two colors, a gradient or a photo. The proof lays the mark out on the mug before anything is printed.

Yes. The glaze stops about half an inch above the foot on purpose, so the unglazed stoneware shows as a warm clay band around the base. It’s the detail that gives the mug its pottery-shop look, and it’s the same on every color.
Close, but not identical. The speckles are part of the glaze, so each mug carries its own scatter, the way handmade stoneware does. The logo prints in the same place and size on every piece.
It stands 5 inches tall and 3.5 inches across and holds a full 16 oz, about half again as much as a standard 11 oz coffee mug, in a heavy stoneware build that feels solid in the hand.
Hand washing is recommended. It keeps the matte glaze and the printed mark looking new far longer than repeated dishwasher cycles, and a quick rinse is all a stoneware mug needs.
