Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang to dry, and skip bleach and ironing over the decorated area. Embroidery and prints hold up through regular washing when treated this way.
Custom crewneck sweatshirts on the Comfort Colors garment-dyed heavyweight fleece, the crewneck that shows up in campus bookstores and boutique merch tables because the color is dyed into the finished sweatshirt, not the yarn. It’s 9.5 oz ring-spun cotton fleece with a relaxed unisex fit, and it comes in twenty dye colors plus six marbled Colorblast washes, the widest sweatshirt palette we carry.

The palette runs from Ivory, Butter and Chalky Mint through Blue Jean, Chambray, Denim and Flo Blue to Terracotta, Crimson, Watermelon and Orchid, with Grey, Pepper, Espresso, True Navy and White as anchors. Because the sweatshirt is dyed after it’s sewn, every shade has the same soft, sun-faded depth, so a team can wear five different colors and still look like one order. Want something louder? The same fleece comes in six Colorblast washes, Amethyst, Citrine, Clay, Fern, Ocean and Smoke, where the dye is crumpled into the garment for a marbled, tie-dye-like finish that’s different on every piece; pick them from the color swatches and the builder prices them a few dollars above the solid shades.

At 9.5 oz the fleece is a full weight class above the standard promo crewneck, with a 100% ring-spun cotton face that takes ink evenly and a brushed interior that’s soft from the first wear. Garment dyeing pre-shrinks the fabric, so the 1×1 rib collar, cuffs and waistband hold their shape through a season of washing, and the rolled-forward shoulder seam sits where a shoulder actually is.

The dye is set before decoration, so a one-color screen print reads crisp on top of the faded ground, and it’s included in the price. Full color suits a retail-style chest graphic or a back print with gradients, and a small embroidered wordmark on the left chest gives the piece a boutique finish. You’ll see the artwork on your chosen color on the proof before anything is decorated.

A crewneck people buy because the fleece and the color carry it, not just the logo.
Twenty dye colors make it easy to land on chapter or school colors in a softer tone.
An embroidered wordmark on Ivory or Espresso looks made for the shop, not ordered from a catalog.
Welcome kits, retreats and client gifts that get worn on weekends.

12 crewnecks, and the twenty-six colorways and six sizes can all mix inside that number. The per-piece price steps down at 24, 48, 96, 144 and 288, with the print and the proof included at every tier.
Colorblast is Comfort Colors’ marbled wash: the finished sweatshirt is crumpled and dyed so the color pools and fades in a pattern that’s unique to every piece, a bit like a soft tie-dye in one hue. It’s the same 9.5 oz fleece and the same fit; the extra few dollars is the dye process. Because no two are identical, expect the marbling to vary across an order, and choose a solid ink color for the artwork so it reads over the pattern.
The dye is set before decoration, so your logo goes on cleanly. What changes is the ground: a white print on Terracotta or Blue Jean has the soft, faded contrast people associate with Comfort Colors, and the proof shows that exact pairing so there are no surprises.
A one or two color screen print is the merch-table standard and it’s already in the price. Choose embroidery for a small left-chest wordmark with a boutique feel, and full color when the artwork has gradients or photo detail.
It’s a relaxed unisex fit with a slightly dropped, rolled-forward shoulder, so most people take their normal size for a regular fit or one size up for the oversized look. Garment dyeing pre-shrinks the fleece, so it holds its size in the wash. Sizes S to 3XL share one order, with 2XL and 3XL priced slightly higher.
