Privacy Policy
What Brandevois collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to opt out of email and text messages at any time. This policy is available at brandevois.com/privacy-policy.
01 Scope
This Privacy Policy sets out the personal information Brandevois (“Brandevois”, “we”, “us”) collects through brandevois.com, the purposes for which it is collected, and the manner in which it is used and disclosed. It is published at brandevois.com/privacy-policy and is linked from every page of the Site.
02 Information collected
2.1Information provided by you. When you place an order, request a quotation or contact us, we collect your name, company name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, and the artwork files you upload.
2.2Consent records. Where you consent to receive text messages or marketing email, we record the fact of consent, the date and time, the method by which it was given, and the wording presented to you.
2.3Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment processor. Card numbers are not received or stored by Brandevois. We receive confirmation of payment and the final four digits of the card for order records.
2.4Information collected automatically. We use cookies and analytics tools to record pages visited, time on site, approximate location and device type, for the purpose of improving the Site.
03 Use of information
Personal information is used for the following purposes:
- to arrange production and delivery of your order, including reproduction of your artwork on the products selected;
- to send order confirmations, proofs, tracking notifications and receipts;
- to respond to your enquiries, by email, telephone or text message where a number has been provided;
- to send marketing email where you have opted in, each message containing an unsubscribe facility;
- to send text messages where you have opted in, which may be stopped at any time by replying STOP;
- to invite you, after delivery, to review your order, where you have opted in to that request;
- to improve the Site and the product range.
04 Text messages
4.1Consent to receive text messages may be given in three ways: by checking the consent box on our quotation request or checkout forms, by sending a message to our published number, or verbally when speaking with us by telephone. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
4.2Mobile numbers are used to respond to enquiries and to send quotation, proof, order and delivery notifications, and promotional messages where separately consented to. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.
4.3You may reply STOP to opt out of future messages, or reply HELP for more information. Opt-out requests may also be sent by email and are actioned promptly.
4.4How consent is recorded. Each consent is logged against the customer record with the mobile number, the date and time, the method by which consent was given, and the source, being the web form address, the inbound message, or the call on which verbal consent was taken. Where consent is given verbally, the opt-out and frequency terms above are read out at the time and the same record is created. Logs are retained for as long as the number remains on file and are produced on request.
4.5Delivery of messages is not guaranteed, and neither Brandevois nor the mobile carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
05 Disclosure to third parties
5.1Personal information is not sold.
5.2No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
5.3Information is disclosed only to the extent necessary to the service providers that enable your order, namely payment processing, production and fulfillment, carriers and tracking, email and text message delivery, and website analytics. Each receives only the data required for its function and is not permitted to use it for its own marketing.
5.4Where you opt in to a post-purchase review request, your email address, order number and estimated delivery date are shared with the review programme operator solely to send that request. You choose whether to opt in, and declining has no effect on your order.
5.5Information may be disclosed where required by law.
06 Artwork
Artwork you upload remains yours. It is stored for the purpose of producing your order and facilitating reorders, and is not disclosed except as necessary to produce your order. Deletion may be requested at any time by email.
07 Retention
Order records are retained for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Artwork is retained for as long as it remains useful for reorders. Consent records are retained for as long as the relevant number or address remains on file. Deletion may be requested at any time and will be actioned except where a record is required to be retained.
08 Your rights
You may request access to the personal information held about you, its correction, or its deletion, by writing to [email protected] or by calling (972) 532-0775. Requests are actioned within 30 days.
09 Cookies
Essential cookies are used for cart, checkout and login functions, and analytics cookies are used to measure use of the Site. Cookies may be blocked in your browser settings, although essential cookies are required for checkout to function.
